Installation

SiteClone installs in the following folder :-

c:\Program files\e21software\cs2

Any folders it needs to create are created for you by the installation routine. All files are installed and integrated to Windows where necessary. Running the SiteClone install software will only update the installation files and will not alter or update any data you have already created using it (important see below about demonstration data).

After installation, the following icon will be visible on your "desktop".

Demonstration data

To help you get going an example site has been included in the install including all the graphics, html and text. This is referenced within the help area and is running live on the e21software site(s). Please note the files containing the demonstration data are re-installed every time SiteClone is installed, so any modifications you make will be lost, although there should be no reason for you altering the demonstration data.

To run SiteClone double click the above icon or click the "Start" button and follow the menues as follows :-

Evaluation mode

You can run SiteClone in "Evaluation mode" without paying for it. The only restriction or difference is that you SiteClone will only build five pages. To remove this limitation you must buy the full product. To change from "Evaluation mode" to the full product simply requires the addition of two "encrypted codes - personalised to your computer". Any data you have created whilst evaluating the product will remain unchanged and can be used afterwards.

During "Evaluation mode " a message is displayed on the main SiteClone Windows stating this.

Removal

SiteClone is fully integrated to Windows. To uninstall select the uninstall option in the same menu used when launching SiteClone or use the uninstall software routine in the Windows "Control Panel".
