All e21Software applications use a standard routine to open an image file. This window includes facilities for not only opening a file from disk or network but also to download an image from a Scanner, Digital Camera or other TWAIN/WIA imaging device. The image highlighted (selected by the mouse or keyboard) will appear in the image window. By "ticking" or "unticking" the Actual size tickbox the image will shrink to fit the window or revert to its normal viewing size. In the latter case you can scroll around the image using scroll bars. To select a Folder
All files in the current selected folder are listed. You can select one of these files by clicking on it. When you do so it appears in the image window.
You can restrict the files listed by selecting a specific graphic type.
Browse your computer and/or network and select the Ok button when you have selected the file. Getting a new file from an Imaging device (Scanner, Camera etc)All e21Software applications support TWAIN and WIA compatible imaging devices. Thats virtually every Scanner and Digital Camera.
Once you have scanned/downloaded an image you will be able to save it. Select the location of where you want the file to go and select the Save button.
Once saved select the Ok button. Getting an image from a websiteIf the image you want is on a website 1) Visit the website and go to the appropriate page 2) Position your mouse over the picture 3) Click the "right" button of your mouse 4) A menu is shown. Select the "Save Image " option 5) Save the image to your computer. Remember where you put it! 6) Follow the instructions above for "Opening an existing file" |
