Accommodation Types

Access to this option is controlled by "Permission option" 18.

Click Configuration -> Accommodation types

You can add as many Accommodation Types to accommres as required. They can be specific to one Property i.e. "FAMILY ROOM" as above or they can be more general, for example "DOUBLE ROOM". Accommodation Types can relate to one room, one type of room or a whole property.

Hotel Bienvenue - 10 double rooms, 15 twin rooms, 3 single rooms

Create Accommodation Types - Double room, Twin Room and Single Room

Bed and Breakfast - 2 double rooms, 1 Lake view double room

Create Accommodation Types - Double room, Lake view double room

Villa - Sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms

Create Accommodation Type - 4 Bedroom Villa

Campsite - Splash Campsite, 1 and 2 bedroom Apartment Block, 15 Tents, 10 Mobile Homes

Create Accommodation Types - Tent, Mobile Home, 1 Bedroom Apartment, 2 Bedroom Apartment

Nominal Account

Each accommodation type has a Nominal Account . This is used to "post" income in the Nominal/General Ledger. The same nominal account can be used for all accommodation types although it is assumed that each accommodation type has its own. When creating an accommodation type it will be assigned a unique nominal account number starting at 1000 and the according nominal account will be automatically created.

Languages

Your online booking site can be created in multiple languages. If you select the above "Name in other languages" button you can add descriptions for your Accommodation types in different languages .

Deleting an Accommodation Type

If you have not assigned an "Accommodation Type" to a property you can delete it. If the delete button is not available then that type has been used and can not be deleted.
