Booking Extras

Access to this option is controlled by " Permission option" 10.

Adding an extra to a booking

2) Enter the quantity.

3) Enter the date. It will default to this date and time. However, if the extra is relevant to a specific date, change it and the time accordingly.

4) If there is any additional information relevant to this extra, add it in the information box.

5) Select the " Update" button.

Fixed and variable prices

Some "Extras " have a set price (and equivalent values in other currencies). These are defined using the "Extras" option. There are also items to add to a bill which are variable, for example meals. These "Extras" are defined with a zero price. All values you enter are assumed to be excluding Sales Tax. If the value includes Sales Tax, enter the inclusive value and tick the box next to the "value" field and accommres will work out the exclusive value for you.

Folios

Extras for a booking can be added to different accounts or Folios . If Folios have been defined for this booking you will be able to select the account using the Folio pulldown.

Changing an entry

1) Select the extra concerned by clicking on it in the large box.

2) Change the quantity, price, folio or information.

3) Select the "Update" button.

Deleting an extra

1) Select the extra concerned by clicking on it in the large box.

2) Select the "Delete" button.

Adding an extra

If you want to add something to a booking and it does not exist. Select the "Extras" button, add the extra and try again.

Extras added at time of Booking online

Selecting extras to be available at the time of booking online is done using the "Bookable Extras" option. When the booking site is built those selected extras can be booked.

Telephone charges

If you are using accommres integrated to a telephone system then an extra button will appear if calls have been automatically added to this booking. This button will be called "Calls". Select the "Calls" extra line and if you select the Calls button, a list of all calls will be shown, which can be printed if your guest needs to see an itemised list.
