Date and Price Codes

Edit -> Accommodation -> Dates and Prices

Rates/Prices can be defined independently of Accommodation Types . They are defined in groups and each group is defined by a code (up to 10 digits). Each Accommodation Type is assigned to a group. The benefit of doing this is that when rates are updated for a group then they immediately effect all the accommodation types which use them. This reduces the effort required to maintain rates.

In the above example a Price/Rate code group is defined as T2BEDGB. Either " Price by length of stay

Add dates by clicking the required date in the calendar and "Add date".

To delete a date, select it by clicking on it. Close the rates window and click the "Trash can" above the date list.

Assigning a Price Code to an Accommodation Type

Enter the code in the "Dates and Prices" field in the Accommodation Details option.

2) Single Unit Properties

Enter the code in the "Dates and Prices" field in the Single Unit Properties option.

Group Discounts / Rates

Select the Group Discount/Rates button to define discount groups based on number of occupants.

In the above example 4 occupants is group 3. Occupancy is defined by the number of Adults and Children. Use the Group dropdown next to the Currency value to select the group you want to update rates for. Select the date and the Pricing form presented will allow you to define th rates for that specific Group. This is very powerful as you can define rates which not only vary by date but also by the size of the party.

Annual View

Select the Annual View button for the alternative method of entering rates for a single year using one form. However, please note this is only suitable for rate structures which are either based on 1 or 7 night rates. See Price by Length of Stay for further details.
