Finding an Item

Where-ever you see the above button, you can use it to find an Item or Record. Information stored in databases is usually found using a code. This code varies depending on what the record is about. As it is impossible to remember them all we add search or find options throughout our software products.

Select the button or press the F1 key (function key) and a window similar to the following will appear.

All items matching the selection criteria (in this case, nothing) are listed. The item is seleced by double clicking on it. If you change the selection criteria, select the " Search" button and the database will be searched again.

The selection criteria vary depending on the database being used.
