How do I?

A quick list of guides to help you do common tasks. Each option will link to the sections of this Help file containing more information.

How do I look at all or some of my properties/units in one option?

How do I enter a booking?

How do I find a booking or guest?

Use "Bookings". Enter the booking number if you know it or select the '?" next to the Booking entry.

How do I cancel a booking?

Select the booking in "Bookings " and then "Cancel" it.

How do I check a guest into a room or unit?

Select the booking in "Bookings " and then select "Check-In".

How do I move a guest from one room or unit to another?

Select the booking in "Bookings" and drag the booking with your mouse to the room/unit required. This can be done mid-stay or in advance.

How do I change the arrival date for a booking?

Select the first day of the booking in " Booking Overview" with the left mouse button drag left or right to the new date.

How do I change the number of nights for a booking?

Select the last night of the booking in " Booking Overview" and drag using the left mouse button to the new "last night date ".

How do I change the room a guest is allocated or staying in?

Select the booking in "Booking Overview " on the date which you want to change the room using the left mouse button. Drag to the new room/unit and the rest of the booking will move with it.

How do I link my website to the accommres generated online booking site?

Follow the instructions in " Technical Integration information".

How do I change the contact details for a booking?

How do I change or add information and images to my property online?

How do I change prices for my accommodation?

Select the accommodation type in " Accommodation Details ". If an entry already exists for this date select that date. If not select the date using the Calendar and select the "Add date

How do I close a month to new financial transactions?

Select "Your details ", Documents tab. Then select "Months". Tick or untick months if you want them open or close.

How do I send booking confirmation or payment confirmation to a guest?

How do I define directions and/or key collection to a property?

Select the property using "Property details" or " Accommodation Details" and then the "Information" button. Select the " Directions " or "Key collection" button.

How do I get an Image or Picture into accommres?

accommres can get pictures from your computer, scanner or digital camera. See the section on "Opening an Image file".

How do I analyse my Bookings to find out how we were found?

Use Enquiry sources to define the different ways in which you can be found and record the method on each booking. Run the Enquiry Source and REVPAR Analysis Report.

How do I email reports or save reports in Microsoft Excel format?

Any report you run gives you three output options, Print, Save and/or Email an Excel format file.
