New Season Rates ConfigurationEdit -> Accommodation -> New Season Rates ConfigurationRates will need to be regularly or at least annually updated. A great deal of time can be saved using this option. With the New Season Rates Configuration option you can "copy" up to the previous 12 months rate settings and project them forward using equivalent dates for the next 12 months. A % can be applied for each setting to increase or decrease rates. All other settings are retained, minimum stay etc. Once this option has created the "rates on mass", you can then fine tune the values in the usual way.
1) Select the Country and Location 2) Select the Property (if required) 3) Select the start month of existing rates to process 4) Enter a % to adjust all values by. If no change, leave blank. If the rates to change are based on a "Price Code" rather than an Accommodation Type then enter the Price Code. After 1 - 4 have been completed all existing dates found for the Accommodation Types/Price Code are listed. Each one is incremented by 1 year. However, it is assumed that the day or the week remains the same. So if the rates were defined for a Saturday and the same date in the following year is a Sunday. Then the date will be adjusted by 1 day to retain the Saturday. You can override the dates generated with your own if you prefer. The % adjustment defined earlier is replicated for each date. If you want to vary this you can by changing it on a line by line basis. If you do not want a suggested date then "blank" that date out and it will not be processed. If the "Use standard dates" option is ticked then the dates shown will be the same as when the last "batch" was saved. As the date structure is likely to be the same for each Accommodation Type, it is assumed that a "Standard date" configuration can be used. If "Use standard dates" is ticked when "Update" is selected then the date structure is saved and used for other Rate configurations. When Update is selected Rates are defined for each date provided. Old rates are adjusted by the % on a line by line basis and all other old values are copied. Importing values". This enables an Accommodation Type or Price Code to import a set of rates from a different Accommodation Type or Price Code. |
