Reception Screen

Access to this option is controlled by "Permission option" 38.

Built into accommres is support for a second screen of information on one or more of your reception computers. This facility is only useful for those accommodation providers which operate a "Check-in " service, Hotels for example.

It is supplied as an additional product accommres screen viewer

A list of accommodation offered by the property is displayed showing the current rate.

Up to three images, titles and blocks of text can be added also. This can be used to promote facilities within the property - a bar or restaurant or anything else.

All of the greetings and thank you messages can be amended and reflected within a few seconds on the display.

Configuring

The greeting and thank you prompts and the images and text in the box (bottom right) can be configured using the "Reception Display Configuration " option below. An additional module is required which must be ordered from Sales .

Starting the reception screen

Your PC must be setup to operate a 2nd screen and of course you need a 2nd screen mounted in a place which can be seen by guests using your reception area. Click the following icon and the reception viewer will be displayed. It will not affect the operation of the PC. An icon is displayed in the bottom right of the screen. Click on it to close the reception screen window.

Important: You must turn the screen saver off otherwise it will appear on your 2nd reception display.
