Secure space and powerful servers drive the processes used to calculate booking prices, take bookings, update availability, support property owner and booking login areas, and deliver information to you and your clients by email, text message and other technologies.

Where do I start?

When accommres was installed, it will have been primarily configured based on settings provided by your e21Software representative or based on the download configuration.

Below is basic information on how to navigate your way around accommres. First read the following:-

It is important you understand the following:

Each building added to accommres is a property and each property contains at least one accommodation type and each accommodation type contains at least one unit. A unit is an individual accommodation which you rent. It can be a room in a hotel or a Condo or a Villa or a space in a RV park.

What type of accommodation provider are you? If you are a single Hotel, Bed and Breakfast, Motel or similar property then proceed to "Single Property", otherwise read on.

Presumably you have more than one property to add to accommres. This could be a group of Hotels or hundreds/thousands of Villas, Condos and/or Apartments.

Please check that the "Configuration menu " does not have an option called "Property Details ". If so, then the correct version of accommres is installed otherwise contact your e21Software representative for advice.

(e) Configure "Multi-Unit" and/or " Single Unit" Properties

What next?

By now you should be exploring accommres and starting to get a feel for it. Theoretically after the above steps are completed you can enter Bookings, although you will need to spend more time refining the booking process and defining financial settings.

This is the first part of accommres you should complete. This section contains all the basic items to configure. For example "Your Details". These relate to your Business.

2) Accommodation

It is important that you look at how you define your Accommodation before starting to define it. A little thought first will save time later. Please look through the Accommodation Overview section. accommres is very flexible and should cope with any permutation of pricing. Examples are available where a Property is available priced per night, per unit, for specified periods of time, priced per person, with minimum occupancy, supplements for different meal options, restrictions on the length of stay and control of the day of the week in which people arrive.

Details for all Clients, Agents, Suppliers and Property Owners are retained in accommres.

If you pay commission to 3rd parties - for example Agencies, you can add these to accommres and reports are available which analyse their bookings. See the Agencies section for more information. If you define "Property Owners " and their Properties you can pay them income from bookings you receive and also apply charges where applicable.

Use the Jobs/Work Orders option to manage work which needs doing to keep your Property or Properties in good condition. Issue jobs to employees or contractors, monitor progress, keep Notes and raise Charges or Invoices to Clients or Owners.
