Web Kit functions and Overview

Included with accommres (assuming you are subscribing to our online booking service) is a complete "web kit". With this your web site designer/developer can build all the functions you need within your website. All businesses are different and there will be some functions you require and others you do not. You can use the ones you need. The kit is in all the languages we offer and you are free to modify it as you see fit. We retain the copyright to the functions and you may not use the code on other sites without our permission. You are not allowed to reverse engineer our code.

How does it work and what does it do?

When the "webkit" is delivered "out of the box" it includes all images, pages, style sheets, javascripts and integration routines required to construct an online booking website fully integrated with your copy of accommres. Before this happens you must have subscribed to our online booking service and therefore we already have servers configured for you and know your requirements. Settings within accommres will automatically link to your "webkit" area.

Login areas are available for property owners and those who have made bookings. These can be turned on and off depending on your needs.

Behind the scenes

The accommres software is fully integrated to online servers we provide as part of your online booking subscription. Information and bookings flow backwards and forwards seamlessly into MySQL5 databases online and within the accommres software environment. In this help file you will find all the functions available and how to execute them although the web kit we provide for you includes all the code anyway.

Hosting

Like all sites you will need an area in which the website is hosted. e21Software can provide this space or you can provide it. However, the MySQL databases used to drive the site are hosted on e21Software servers. There may be performance benefits in using e21Software to host the "web kit" website as both the database and site will be on the same server. However, you can choose to locate the "web kit" on any server of your choice. The monthly subscription is not effected by this choice, although e21Software may charge an additional fee for the hosting of the "web kit" site depending on traffic demands.
