Basics you should know accommres is designed so that rather than having different programs there is just one. Different versions are available depending on your requirements. However, these differences are accommodated by "turning on and off" functions using codes which we issue to each client. Every client is different and this enables us to provide a product focused on your needs. If your needs change we change the codes, not the software. Our software is used by both Hotels and Property Management businesses managing Villas and Apartments. Both types of businesses need 95% of the same options but differ greatly in other areas. Hence we use settings to handle these differences in a transparent way for the client. By using one piece of software we reduce support issues caused by "bugs". Whilst we are not perfect, we have a very low rate of problems which we cause! Single/Multi user All our products are designed to be multi-user. They can be run using the network architecture your business requires and can afford and not what we specify. Usually this is done without you needing to buy any third party licences. We issue codes to enable additional users. Changing from single to multi-user does not involve a change of software, no re-training is required. Databases Depending on the size of your installation you can use Foxpro, Firebird SQL or Oracle SQL.  &n
bsp;  We do not believe in "faddy" technology. What we use is tried, tested and high performance and not prone to failure. Neither you or e21Software can afford problems with software so we design problems out of our products. You can always choose your own database, just ask. Foxpro is used in sites up to 10 users in size and is the default database used. There are good third party products for those of you wanting to access any of the databases for reporting purposes although our products are very rich in reports and you are unlikely to need to do this. We are Oracle partners and can provide database technology to drive a business of any size however big you become. To convert to the latest release of accommres version 2.4.7 please contact e21Software. If you download and install one of the versions below and you have an older version you will need to contact e21Software for assistance with converting your old databases.
Networks accommres is installed on all client systems and/or on the server. All clients and the server must have a "mapped drive" to an area all clients have identical access and permissions to. One of the following downloads should be run on each accommres installed client. They will update the client settings to "point" at the correct data area on the network. Map drive F:\ Map drive T:\ Map drive X:\ Map drive Y:\ Terminal Server/Remote Desktop accommres can be installed on a Windows 2003/2005/2008 online server running Terminal Server. Each client PC requires the use of Remote Desktop to access the server. A single copy of the above software is installed online and licences are acquired for the number of users required. We offer a fully hosted service. Dont worry about installing anything. We provide the server space, all licences, backup and support all for a fixed monthly fee.
